Biographical Information
About the Author: Teresa LaSala
Teresa LaSala is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer and Facilitator who provides training, consultation, and support services for schools, organizations and communities across the United States and internationally.
She serves as a Whole Child Faculty Member and Regional Specialist with ASCD, is a licensed Nurse by degree, and is a Consultant Climate Specialist with the School Culture and Climate Initiative at Saint Elizabeth University’s Center for Human and Social Development. Teresa was part of a team recognized by the New Jersey State Department of Education for implementing a Whole School Social Emotional Life Skills curriculum, based on the Positive Discipline model.
As a 26-year member of the Positive Discipline Association, Teresa served eight years on its International Board of Directors and continues to serve on the International Committee while facilitating certification trainings.
She lives in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, with her husband, Jim and has two daughters and one granddaughter.

The 6th Edition combines the information from the Positive Discipline in the Classroom Leaders' and Teachers' Guides for one manual that will empower students, school staff and administration in facilitating comprehensive changes toward a more inclusive, respectful, positive school climate.
