Workshop Description:
This two day training will equip participants with research based strategies and tools for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time. Participants will learn to facilitate with experiential activities in group and individual settings and will leave with a set of resource materials adaptable for use with all age and focus groups.
This workshop is suitable for both new and experienced parent educators, counselors who want to offer Positive Discipline to their clients, childcare professionals who want to offer Positive Discipline support in their centres, educators, centers, workers, and others who deal with children & parents.
Cost in CAD:
- Early registration fee $360 CAD through May 10.
- Regular registration fee $395 CAD May 11 on.
Registration fee includes the book Positive Discipline by Jane Nelsen and the Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way Manual by Jane Nelsen & Lynn Lott.

Please wear casual clothing -- this is a very interactive workshop.
IMPORTANT: If you are flying, please to not make flight arrangements until the minimum number have enrolled. The facilitator or our office staff will let you know as soon as that happens.
Cancellations:
A Cancellations: less a $35 CAD processing fee is given if cancellation occurs cancellation month or more before the workshop. No refund if cancellation is cancellation than 4 weeks before workshop, although the participant may reschedule for another workshop.
