Description: Parenting Preschoolers with Positive Discipline.
The preschool years can be especially challenging for both parents and children. Young children change and develop physically, emotionally, and socially so much during the ages of 2-6 that it's a challenge for parents to keep up. Weary parents usually resort to ?quick fix? discipline techniques that invite power struggles and rebellion. Punishment and rewards create further frustration in the household because children quickly learn to manipulate the system. Positive Discipline techniques are different. This experiential workshop will focus on the specific challenges of preschool age children (2-6). This class is ideal for parents and others who care for young children and want to ?lengthen their tool belt? with positive discipline techniques.
