Local Workshops and Classes by Country

What's the Difference?

  • Classes are offered by individuals who have taken a workshop, either a Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way (TP) or a Positive Discipline in the Classroom (PDC).  They are a Certified PD Parent Educator or a Certified PD Classroom Educator or have chosen to join our membership to become a Positive Discipline Trainer Candidate (PDTC) or a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer (CPDT).  The classes are for parents, teachers, and the general public to learn about the Positive Discipline techniques and teachings. Classes are usually one to two days in length or are given in as series of classes.  There is no cost or a small fee associated with these classes.
  • Workshops are offered by CPDT for individuals wanting to become certified trainers, at various levels. Workshops are generally two days in length. There is a fee associated with these workshops. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.

Trainings or workshops are offered by a CPDT, primarily in a two-day, experiential, format in various locations around the country. Rigorous training, continuous networking, and an annual Think Tank assures a high level of competency among our Trainers.

Training can be provided upon request and customized to meet the unique needs of your school, organization or agency. A fourteen hour program format is available specifically for educating parents and/or teachers. Provisions are in place to offer limited scholarships and a reduced fee schedule for individuals of low to moderate income who might find the fee prohibitive for workshops and trainings.
