    Facilitator: 

    Lori Onderwyzer is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer and is an inspiring facilitator known for her high energy level, exuberant personality, strong interpersonal skills, integrity and common sense. She is compassionate, conscientious and spirited. 

    She lives and models the Positive Discipline principles she teaches both at home and in her professional life. Lori has been a certificated teacher and educational consultant and classroom management coach for 20 years. She has taught every grade level from kindergarten through eighth grade in such diverse settings as the inner city, migrant farming communities, international schools, public and charter schools and in small groups and one on one educational environments.

    Currently Lori conducts Positive Discipline workshops for both public and independent schools, the Alameda County Office of education, after school programs, educational conferences and works in many classrooms as a teacher coach.

    Facilitators' Information: 

    Jane Nelsen, Ed.D. is the author of the original Positive Discipline book and co-author of many others.  She is the co-creator (with Lynn Lott) of this workshop.  She was an elementary school counselor and a community college instructor in Child Development for 10 years.  Jane is married to Barry Nelsen, and is the mother of seven children, 22 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  

    Julie Iraninejad, M.Ed. is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer for Parent Educators and Classroom Educators.  She is a wife and mother of 2 young children and is also a certified Montessori guide for both Assistants to Infancy and Primary Montessori. She is the co-chair of the Positive Discipline Mentor Group of San Diego and spends most of her professional time working with parents and teachers in individualized coaching sessions, classes, workshops and teacher in-services.
