Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way (developed by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen) is a research-based parent education program that provides a step-by-step approach to starting and leading experientially based parenting groups. This program stands alone or offers significant enhancement to any program. It provides experiential activities that reach the heart to inspire deeper understanding and change.

Facilitator Information:Casey O'Roarty is a Positive Discipline trainer living outside of Seattle, Washington. She has been a Positive Discipline Parent Educator since 2007, and began teaching future educators and classroom teachers in 2012. Prior to her PD journey, she was an elementary teacher in a three room schoolhouse in the Cascade Mountains.
Casey is currently raising her own two children, loving the practice and the challenge of walking her talk in her own home. She is passionate about self discovery, relationships, perspective taking and personal growth. Also, honored to share this important work with others.
Cost: $375 early registration (received and paid by 2/04/16), $425 regular registration. Registration materials. When groups of 4 or more registering together, take $100 off the fee. Limit to 30 Participants.

CEs: The Positive Discipline Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. ACEP No. 6723. This program also is co-sponsored by the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP). NASAP is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for Psychologists.
Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
