Parenting Class: Seeds of Confidence: Raising Calm, Cooperative and Capable Kids

Dates and Times: Every Tuesday from May 5, 2026 to June 10, 2026 from 8:00-10:00pm EDT
Location: 6-weeks online sessions via Zoom.
Cost: $225 CAD per person / $400 per family/household *plus taxes (Upon registration participants will receive: 6 online 2-hr sessions, a free personalized consultation and an opportunity to bond with other parents going through the same ups and downs in life). As part of our commitment to support women and their children in our community, 10% of your registration fee will be donated to Halton Women's Place.
Parenting Class Description:
Come and join a safe space where you will connect with other parents going through the same ups and downs in life while learning specific and practical tools that will bring more understanding, respect and love to your home.
Together we will explore how to act kind and firm, invite to cooperation, focus on solutions, avoid power struggles, discover the root of children's behavior, understand how the brain works, alternatives to punishment, and much more!
CLASS CONTENT:
CLASS 1: What do you want for your children? Conversations, connection hugs, and tool cards
CLASS 2: What is Positive Discipline? Being kind and firm, understanding the brain, and positive time-out
CLASS 3: Beliefs behind our children's behavior, sibling rivalry, and the 4Rs of recovery
CLASS 4: How do I influence my children's behavior? Parenting styles, focus on solutions, and family meetings
CLASS 5: Connection before correction and the power of encouragement over praise
CLASS 6: What is my responsibility? Prioritizing lifestyle and mistakes as learning opportunities
*** To run the 6-week class series, we require a minimum of 8 participants registered, caping it to a maximum of 20 participants.
