Parenting is never one-size-fits-all, and when you’re raising a neurodivergent child—whether they’re autistic, ADHD, or simply wired a little differently—the usual rulebooks can fall flat. Meltdowns, misunderstandings, and emotional storms can leave everyone feeling overwhelmed.

Join us for “Calm in the Storm,” an interactive workshop designed for parents, caregivers, educators, and anyone supporting neurodivergent children. Together, we’ll explore the principles of Positive Discipline—a framework that emphasizes connection over correction, and compassion over control—tailored specifically for neurodivergent brains.

Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Eastern Time) Check your time zone

Format: Online via Zoom
Recording: Will be sent to all registered participants
Registration Fees:
$45 Public / $35 PDA Members

Through real-life scenarios, practical tools, and open conversation, you’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize and respond to the unique needs and triggers of neurodivergent children
  • Shift from power struggles to problem-solving, even in the heat of the moment
  • Foster emotional regulation and resilience without shaming or punishment
  • Nurture your child’s strengths while honoring their challenges

Whether you’re new to Positive Discipline or looking to deepen your toolbox, this workshop will help you create calmer, more connected relationships—even on the stormiest days. Bring your questions, your stories, and your willingness to rethink what “discipline” can look like.
